Deputy Manager - Business Excellence for leading Chemical company at Bharuch

Job Description:

1. Project Identification & Execution Identify and lead improvement projects across process plants, utilities, SCM, and procurement, including CAPEX proposals and purchase requisitions. Responsible for delivering Business Impact by improving business processes, solving problems, and driving change management within the site.

2. Cost Savings & Performance Monitoring Drive annual savings targets for the Bharuch site, validate savings with Finance, and report key metrics like OPE, OEE, and monthly savings.

3. Operational Excellence Conduct Business Process Reviews to enhance site-wide efficiency.

4. 5S & Auditing Monitor 5S scores monthly and conduct zone audits to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

5. Digital transformation Support digital transformation under SURGE

6. Lean Initiatives Facilitate Lean Six Sigma certifications (White, Yellow, Green Belt).

7. Reporting & Communication Prepare presentations and reports for project reviews and stakeholder updates.

8. Program Management skills Leading clusters of individual projects in parallel through wide cross-functional teams

9. People Leadership:

Ability to coach & mentor people

10. Strong Quantitative and problem solving ability:

Ability to conceptualize complex problems and develop an Analytical road map for them.

11. Demonstrates the ability to facilitate meetings to generate ideas and make key decisions.
