Job Description:
1. Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international EHS regulations (e.g., Pollution Control Board, OSHA, Factory Act).
- Maintain all required licenses, permits, and documentation.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and support audits/inspections.
2. Workplace Safety
- Implement and monitor safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification.
- Ensure proper use of PPE across manufacturing, warehouse, and laboratory areas.
3. Environmental Management
- Monitor air, water, and hazardous waste management systems.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals and pharmaceutical waste.
- Manage ETP/STP operations and compliance reporting.
4. Training & Awareness
- Conduct EHS induction and periodic safety training for employees and contractors.
- Promote safety culture and awareness campaigns.
5. Incident Management
- Investigate accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Prepare reports and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain EHS records, SOPs, MSDS, and safety manuals.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly EHS reports and KPI dashboards.
7. Emergency Preparedness
- Develop and implement emergency response plans (fire, chemical spills, etc.).
- Coordinate mock drills and ensure readiness of emergency equipment.
8. Sustainability Initiatives
- Drive energy conservation, waste reduction, and green initiatives.
- Support ESG and sustainability goals of the organization.

- Good communication and training skills
- Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
