Strategic Manager for MNC company

Job Description:

Primary Function/Primary Goals/Objectives:

End-to-end design, detailing, execution, and project management of key projects of the Jhagadia Site, India. The position is responsible for working with and leading cross-functional teams across the divisions and supporting functions of the Jhagadia Plant in India to execute strategic and substantial projects. The job involves being an integral part of a team reporting to the Site Director.

Major Responsibilities:

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams across Manufacturing, Engineering, R&D, supply chain, HR, finance, and regulatory functions on transformation projects.

• Initiative Design: Conduct detailed initiatives design, incorporating best practices and insights from internal and external sources (market, competition, and other industries) into the project design.

• Project Execution: Own the execution and delivery of all chosen transformational projects and ensure regular problem-solving, tracking, and de-bottlenecking. Influence stakeholders and show leadership in solving organizational challenges.

   

• Stakeholder Management: Influence leadership team members on changes arising out of key project recommendations, with sound logic and supporting insights.

• Issue Escalation: Perform escalation of issues along with mitigating actions to relevant owners, sponsors, and the corporate senior leadership team members.

• Strategic Support: Support the Site Director on regularly benchmarking/analyzing competitive shifts impacting the performance and health of individual businesses. Also, support in identifying transformation initiatives and projects in India based on short- and long-term business needs.
