Reliability Engineer for MNC company

Job Description:

•Independently gathers maintenance and manufacturing performance data (Maximo, Zarpac, etc.), and performs preliminary analysis. Reports findings. Prepares and communicates recommendations and respective action plans to drive cost containment and cost reduction efforts

•Apply mean time between failure (MTBF) and mean time between work orders techniques to monitor asset improvements and effectiveness of maintenance activities.

•Review failure data to identify poor performing assets (bad actors)

•Root cause analysis to take actions to eliminate equipment failures

•Use FMEA/RCM to determine the maintenance program for new assets

•Provide failure analysis improvement actions to Planner, scheduler, to setup jobs for the upcoming outage

•Ensure that appropriate documentation is available and controlled for the maintenance of critical assets

•Ensures the maintenance program is in place and conduct annual review of maintenance effectiveness at a minimum on critical and poor performing assets

•Perform asset criticality analysis

•Lead Asset condition management (Vibration, Alignment and balancing, Ultrasound and infrared technologies)

•Develop Lubrication standards

•Create one point lessons for special procedures and tools

•Support storeroom team in standardization of parts to increase maintainability and reliability

•Lead training on technical specifications for high failure rate equipment

•Support collection and reporting of Maintenance metrics

•Develop procedures and standards for asset maintenance

•Develop and execute reliability studies and evaluations of equipment robustness.

•Anticipate future directions. Benchmarks internally and externally. Assists with deployment of predictive and reliability centred maintenance strategies.

•Complies with all regulations and standards for quality, Environmental, Health, Safety, and Energy (EHS&E) Global Policies, company Engineering Standards, and other governance areas as applicable

•Lead predictive maintenance program at site for rotary and stationary equipment.

•Prepares and leads reliability strategy development plan for critical assets.

•Weekly/Monthly update on bad actors/poor performing assets.

•Backup for maintenance planner with execution of weekly planning and scheduling tasks.
